Are your axes handmade?
Our axes combine the best of modern precision and traditional craftsmanship. We use CNC machining to ensure perfect symmetry, which improves how the axe cuts and releases from wood. Then, each axe is finished by hand to guarantee the highest quality. This process gives you a tool that’s both engineered for performance and refined with expert craftsmanship.
Are all your products Australian-made?
Absolutely! Every product we sell is 100% Australian-made. We take pride in supporting local manufacturing and ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
Why buy one of our axe boxes?
Our axe boxes are designed to protect your investment. These precision tools aren’t something you toss in the back of a ute—they need to be stored and transported with care. Our boxes keep your axes secure, ensuring they stay in top condition for competition or training.
We’ve been making axe boxes for over 10 years, and they were the very first product we ever offered. Today, they’re the world standard for axe boxes—trusted by axemen everywhere. Plus, with custom colour choices and decals, they look as good as the gear inside them.
Ordering & Shipping
Do you take custom orders?
Yes! A lot of our orders are custom. We offer customized axe boxes with a range of colour choices and decals, plus custom artwork on axes. If you’ve got something specific in mind, get in touch—we love bringing unique ideas to life!
How long does it take to receive my order?
Most of our products are made to order, so production times vary. If you need something by a specific date, we recommend ordering well in advance. We do our best to get your gear to you as quickly as possible.
As a general guide:
- Axe Handles – 2 weeks
- Axe Boxes – 4 weeks
- Finished Axes – 6 weeks
If you’re unsure about lead times or need something urgently, get in touch, Pete will always do his best to make it happen!
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide, so no matter where you are, you can get your hands on our gear. If you have any questions about shipping, just reach out—we’re happy to help.
What if I need to change or cancel my order?
Since most of our products are made to order, changes or cancellations need to be made ASAP. Once production starts, it’s unlikely we can make adjustments.
Returns & Warranty
Do you offer returns or refunds?
We stand by the quality of our products. If there’s a manufacturing defect, let us know, and we’ll sort it out. Due to the nature of our products, we don’t accept returns for change of mind.
Is there a warranty on your products?
Our products are built to last, and we stand by their quality. If there’s a manufacturing issue, get in touch, and we’ll sort it out.
That said, proper use and care are key to getting the best out of your axe. These are precision tools, not indestructible objects, so they need to be used correctly and maintained properly. If you’re unsure about best practices, we’re happy to provide guidance on care and handling.

How do I take care of my axe?
A well-maintained axe lasts a lifetime. Keep it clean, dry, and store it properly. As an extra step, we lightly coat our axes in olive oil for protection, and you can do the same to keep yours in top condition. Do you sell axe sharpening tools?
Yes! We stock a range of sharpening tools to keep your axe in top condition. A sharp axe is a safe and effective one, so make sure you're looking after your edge.
