Each axe head is designed for balance and durability, CNC-milled for accuracy, and fitted with a perfectly shaped American hickory handle for a secure, comfortable grip. Our new splitting axe has a strong chisel at 20 degrees and a thicker head to really bust apart those tough logs.

Best uses for the Splitting Axe:
A versatile axe with a primary use of splitting wood, but can also be used to trim limbs off a tree before processing it for firewood. It will easily split both softwood and hardwood firewood. The thicker head and optimum weight splits logs easily and with minimum force.
