Quick Description

These are the diamond sheets and blocks to replace worn out sheets for the diamond sharpening system.

What makes it cool…

Unfortunately the diamond surfaces do not last forever, but when the time comes to replace them, it is very easy and fast.

For the coarser grits (#140, #400 and #1200 grits), you can follow this simple procedure:

remove the old diamond sheet by prying it off with a knife
clean the old glue off the aluminium block with some white spirits and a cloth
peel the paper backing off the new diamond sheet
place the new diamond sheet in the desired position on the aluminium block
press down firmly to create a strong bond
The entire process takes 5 minutes and you are ready to keep on sharpening.

The #3000 grit diamond whetstone comes already bonded to the aluminium block and is ready to use straight out of the packet.

NOTE: there are two versions of the #3000 grit, one has the threaded hole to use with the jig and the other version has no hole and is used for free hand sharpening.
