Why it is cool.
Gauges don't get much easier to use than this cracker. It can easily and quickly mark out lines on your sawing log with clean accurate lines with the provided crayon.
Simply insert the crayon into the hole at the required distance and roll the gauge around the log for a perfectly straight line that is consistent and easy to see.
When the crayon gets blunt, the gauge has its own sharpener in the base. Whether you have one log to mark when you are training or 8 logs at a Royal Show, this gauge is the go.
The gauges are manufactured from 50mm x 25mm solid aluminium. They are CNC machined and engraved and will last a lifetime if you look after it. The sharpener is out of the way and embedded in the base.
The available lines are at 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm from the end of the log.
